Teacher of the Month

A Teacher of the Month will be selected each month by a panel of judges made up of Herald Mail Media and Hagerstown Honda representatives. The winner will receive a prize package from Hagerstown Honda and other co-sponsors of the contest. Co-sponsors and prize packages may change from month to month.

Nominees must be employed at a public or private school, college, university or a post high school certified technical or training facility within Washington County.

Rules

Open to all public and private school teachers, professors of community colleges and universities, and instructors of certified/technical training facilities operating within the boundaries of Washington County.

The nominee must work in the Washington County facility.

Nominations must include:

• The full name of the nominee
• The school where the nominee is employed and, if applicable, the grade he/she teaches
• A short essay on why the nominee should be chosen for Teacher of the Month

The individual making the nomination must include their:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Address

Nominees must be currently employed in an education setting to be eligible.
