Hiring Range $50,000 - $55,000 Annually

The Hagerstown/Eastern Panhandle Metropolitan Planning Organization (HEPMPO), a regional transportation planning organization is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Transportation Planner.
Qualified candidates will be able to perform regional, metropolitan and transportation planning, as well as support of the MPO’s transportation and other geographic information system (GIS) databases. The successful candidate must be able to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines; have excellent computer skills; and a professional, positive attitude. Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
Minimum qualifications include one to three years of professional experience in transportation, urban or regional planning, geography, geographic information systems or other technical experience; and any combination of education and training equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in transportation, urban or regional planning, geography or geographic information systems.
Experience using and maintaining ESRI GIS software is required. Deadline to apply is August 1, 2019.
